Japan’s first long-range, international business jet fractional co-ownership service has arrived.
Drawing on over 20 years of leadership in business aviation, Sojitz has built an unparalleled global platform spanning aircraft transactions, charter management, and operational excellence.
Guided by the voices of our clients, we have now realized Japan’s first international co-ownership private jet program—the Share Jet Program (SJP).
SJP offers:
Two dedicated aircraft models, co-engineered with the world’s No.1 business jet manufacturer Bombardier, and Four thoughtfully-structured service labels (tiers), selectable by travel frequency and mission purpose.
SJP does not settle for regulatory compliance alone. Our operators maintain the highest levels in the industry, including ARGUS US Platinum, Wyvern Wingman, and IS-BAO Stage IV—among the most rigorous voluntary aviation audits in the world. These are not one-time accolades, but a promise renewed year after year through continuous improvement and uncompromising dedication to operational quality.
The value of private aviation lies not only in aircraft performance, but in the crew that operates it. SJP flight crews are selected through exacting hiring standards and shaped by daily training, mentorship, and discipline. Each member serves with the mindset of a true aviation professional—one who fully understands the responsibility of carrying lives, time, and trust.
SJP cabins are dynamically configured to your needs—be it an office, a living room, or a hotel suite. This flexibility is supported by Japanese-trained cabin attendants and globally-experienced staff residing in Japan, ensuring cultural fluency and attention to detail. Our hospitality is not about preparing a cabin—it is about creating the space you desire in the moment you need it most.
Sojitz has operated a diverse fleet of long-range business jets including Global 7500, G650ER, and BBJ. This multi-aircraft operational know-how allows SJP dispatch and flight planning teams to maintain 24/7 readiness, providing comprehensive manuals for complex airspace including polar routes, and rapid response to last-minute itinerary changes.
Each airport around the world has its own rules, customs, and operational realities. Some airports may appear accessible but are not, while others that seem impossible may open under specific conditions. Our International Flight Concierge deciphers these complexities and guides you to the most reliable, comfortable, and efficient airport options based on your final destination and mission profile.
At our Tokyo-area hangar bases, we maintain manufacturer-certified maintenance teams built from decades of experience. Our engineers detect the faintest signs, anomalies, and sensitivities only visible through long-term mastery. The result is an unseen layer of quality—one that delivers the quiet confidence of “absolute reliability” every time you fly.
A business jet is not a tool—it is a residence in the sky. A single crease on a seat or haze on a window shapes the entire flight impression. We maintain meticulous cleaning protocols as part of operational quality, supported by trained ground teams who treat cleanliness as a technical discipline, not a visual outcome.
Our dedicated hangar at Narita Airport dramatically enhances operational efficiency for SJP aircraft. Even when flying from Haneda, we minimize ferry flights, saving both time and cost. More importantly, the aircraft is shielded from weather, wind, and external conditions, ensuring the best possible boarding experience the moment you step inside.
Even perfection encounters the unexpected. When maintenance needs overlap or schedules collide, SJP owners are never grounded. Our multi-fleet backup system spans more than a dozen aircraft across the region—designed to eliminate the feeling of “unavailability.” In private aviation, the greatest luxury is not flying—it is knowing you always can.
SJP owners use a dedicated app for flight reservations and cost management. Yet we never rely on software alone. Our concierge team stands behind every tap, delivering 20+ years of aviation customer support experience. When needed, your concierge intervenes instantly—delivering both digital efficiency and human-level confidence.
Private jets can be seen as symbols of luxury—but SJP carries responsibility. SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) adoption is only the beginning. We stand at the forefront not due to obligation, but conviction—leading aviation sustainability with intent, transparency, and long-term environmental stewardship.
While co-ownership has been common in the U.S., Sojitz is the first to introduce a long-range international model in Japan. This system was drawn not from imitation, but domestic leadership experience. SJP is not a global copy—it is Japan’s new aviation standard, built for Japanese global travelers.
Developed exclusively for SJP aircraft exteriors, SJ Cloud is a nuanced signature color that shifts between white, gray, and beige depending on light—an intentionally minimal and deeply refined tone crafted to express quiet confidence and presence. Featuring only the logo, its design is purposefully reduced to deliver understated distinction.

SJP is Japan’s first co-ownership private jet program, where 2 to 6 owners jointly acquire one aircraft and share acquisition and operating costs based on usage needs. The dedicated jet can be used for both domestic and international travel.
Yes. Personal information, flight history, and travel records are never disclosed or shared among co-owners. We maintain strict privacy protection and ensure all data is securely managed.
In the event of schedule conflicts, owners will have access to an alternative backup aircraft within the Sojitz operator fleet, ensuring seamless travel availability.
SJP offers four labels from Imperial to Basic, with aircraft acquisition options starting from USD 11.5 million. For detailed pricing and specifications, please contact us directly.
Unlike membership-based models, SJP provides fractional asset ownership. This enables owners to benefit from depreciation advantages proportional to their ownership share. For tax and accounting matters, we recommend consulting your company’s financial or tax advisor.
Currently, the program supports two long-range Bombardier models. However, we plan to expand eligible aircraft types based on owner needs and mission profiles. We welcome early consultations.
The standard program term is 5 years. Early termination and continued ownership from year 6 onward are possible, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
Usage days are counted from the moment the aircraft departs from the Narita base until it returns, including all operational routing required for your journey.
